Finnair achieves a great breakthrough in preserving the environment

The Finnish airline Finnair has received the Level 2 certification of the Environmental Assessment Program of the International Air Transport Association (IATA). This program rewards the efforts of air carriers to be more effective in the preserving the environment free from pollution and degradation.
This level 2 certificate is the highest rating that can be obtained in this program and, in our opinion, is not it strange that a Finnish company achieves the honour of being the second after Southafrican Airlines in obtaining this certification.
In the Nordic countries and, more in particular, in Finland perhaps their culture and their love for nature tend to make them take good care of the environment. The work that they have managed to do is to reduce the use of antifreeze fluids, the emission of O2 into the atmosphere as well as reducing the energy use and noise.
